The last three months have seen Cherry visiting Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Lithuania, Finland, and Russia as part of another jazz tour on the high seas, Poland for two blues festivals with Krissy Matthews (see previous news entry) and more recently, Orkney Isles for Orkney Blues Festival which was a welcome return for Cherry and her band after their last performance there was 9 years ago! It sure has been a whirlwind and throughout all this Cherry has been planning her upcoming wedding which takes place next month!

The end of August saw Cherry perform for the first time ever in a cave! A venue called The Devil's Arse in Castleton which sure was an experience and then this month also saw Cherry performing with her Johnny Cash Roadshow family as the role of June Carter where she had to play the autoharp on the song Wildwood Flower. There are talks this may be added to Cherry's set with her own band so stay tuned!
